Hands-On Learning

Practical Experience Beyond the Classroom
Hands-on learning

Public Health students gain hands-on experience in their field of study, giving them a competitive edge in the marketplace and academia.

Our faculty collaborate both nationally and internationally on research and service projects that provide valuable opportunities for students.

Public Health graduate programs offer both research-intensive and practice-based curricula that emphasize individualized planning and cross-disciplinary experiences to help students build an educational program that supports their career goals.

Undergraduate students put their skills to work through volunteer projects, research, internships and student organizations. The program features dynamic advising, small class sizes, and engagement in extracurricular activities that enhance the public health experience.

All students have the opportunity for field placements and practice-based learning experiences while they’re in school.
