Share your appreciation during National Public Health Week, April 5-11

#ThankYouPublicHealth

Our School of Public Health partners provide valuable opportunities for your learning, helping support your educational and career goals. During National Public Health Week, April 5-11, take a moment to share your appreciation!

By posting on your social media profiles throughout the week using #ThankYouPublicHealth, you’ll help the American Public Health Association continue to thank public health professionals for all the hard work everyone's doing to keep our communities safe.

Need an idea? Post a photo of yourself at your field placement location, share a note about your experience, draw ‘Thank You’ on a piece of paper and take a photo and/or selfie with it, or make a short video to share your message of thanks.

In addition to the #ThankYouPublicHealth hashtag, tag the School of Public Health (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)  –  so we can share our appreciation, too – and, if possible, the organization or person for whom you’re thankful. If you’d prefer to submit your photo and/or message to the School of Public Health (SPH) Marketing and Communications Office to post on your behalf on the school’s social channels, you’re welcome to send your content to sph@hsc.wvu.edu.

There are many other activities throughout the week that are free and open to all students. Visit the NPHW schedule for a full list of virtual events. You can also participate in an Instagram scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes!
