Congratulations, WVU School of Public Health Class of 2021 and Class of 2020!

As you know, West Virginia University has announced plans to have in-person Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2020 (May, August and December graduates) and the Class of 2021 at Milan Puskar Stadium May 15-16.

The School of Public Health ceremony will take place Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m.

To help you prepare, we’ve created a checklist:

  1. Attend the Commencement Q&A Session: Join Leah Adkins and Audra Hamrick on Friday, April 23 from 1-1:30 p.m. for an information session about all things Commencement including a Q&A period to ask any questions you have. RSVP to receive the Zoom link. You may also submit questions ahead of the session to sph@hsc.wvu.edu.
  2. Register to Participate: All graduates must register to participate in the ceremony by Sunday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m.
  3. Order Regalia: Regalia must be worn in order to participate. The last day to order official WVU regalia online from Herff Jones is Sunday, April 18. Orders placed after this date may incur additional fees. No regalia will be sold at the venue. Information about regalia colors is available on the School of Public Health Commencement web page.
  4. Pick Up Undergraduate Honor Cords: Honor cords and stoles for May 2021 graduates will be distributed Friday, April 16 from 1-3 p.m. at Erickson Alumni Center. If you are to receive cords or a stole, you should have already been contacted by Sarah Opatz. Class of 2020 graduates should have already received their cords or stoles. Bring them with you to the ceremony. There will not be any supplied at the venue.
