WVU celebrates May graduates during online commencement ceremony

On Saturday, May 16, West Virginia University held an online commencement experience to recognize and honor its May 2020 graduates. Mountaineer Graduation Day, created due to social distancing restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, provided an opportunity for graduates to share in familiar commencement traditions while engaging in WVU's various social media platforms using #WVUgrad.

School of Public Health faculty and staff contributed video messages and photos to recognize its graduates (compilation video below). These messages were shared across the school's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram (via Stories) and Twitter).
