Our Services to Faculty and Affiliates

The West Virginia Prevention Research Center (WVPRC) is one of 25 Prevention Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These PRCs are housed in universities across the country and share a focus on public health in community settings. The WVPRC has relationships across the WVU Health Sciences Center and throughout the downtown, Evansdale and regional campuses of the University. We have also formed partnerships across the state, the PRC network and the country.
