Public Health means helping people. Through interactions, research and the implementation of policies, people and communities can become better.

Why did you choose to study Public Health at WVU?

At the beginning of my college career, I knew I wanted to help people and go into the world and do good. With a degree in Public Health from WVU, I know my goal can be accomplished.

What would you tell future students about WVU and the School of Public Health?

Everyone in the School of Public Health and at WVU want you to succeed. Professors are willing to help you and your fellow students and will support you when you need it most.

What advice would you give to your freshman self?

I would tell my freshman self to relax. When I first came to WVU, I was fully focused on school work and did nothing else. I learned there needs to be a balance and there should be time for friends and social time along with schoolwork.

What do you plan to do upon completion of your degree?

I plan on attending graduate school to get an MPH in health policy and management or an MHA degree.
