WVU in the News: WVU Board of Governors meeting brings plans for positive change across university
At the WVU Board of Governors meeting, West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson, joined by Dr. Clay Marsh, chancellor and executive dean for Health Sciences, highlighted a growing partnership with the Association of American Universities, aimed at strengthening the university’s education and health missions.
Benson also announced a seed funding initiative to accelerate progress on the university’s Strategic Compass priorities – education, discovery, health, service, and experience – supporting innovative projects designed to turn ideas into action. The program is expected to fully launch later this year.
