WVU School of Public Health student Matthew Davis, DO, recognized as "40 Under 40" honoree
Both an alumnus and current student of WVU School of Public Health, Matthew Davis, DO, has been recognized as one of The State Journal Generation Next “40 Under 40” honorees. Receiving his Master of Health Administration in 2025, he’s currently pursuing a Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Population Health.
In his clinical role, Davis is an emergency medicine physician at various WVU Medicine locations. Additionally, he serves in executive leadership roles in several organizations, including the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association, and the West Virginia State Medical Association. He also serves as a clinical professor at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
His selection to the Generation Next "40 Under 40" list reflects Davis’s commitment to improving healthcare, advancing public health, and serving communities across the Mountain State.
