WVU School of Public Health to celebrate National Public Health Week with series of virtual events

During the first full week of April each year, the American Public Health Association brings together communities across the United States to observe National Public Health Week as a time to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation's health. This year's theme is "Public Health is Where You Are."

The West Virginia University School of Public Health, an APHA member, encourages everyone to join us virtually throughout the week as we share important information about initiatives within the School and around the world related to the APHA daily themes, including racism as a public health crisis; the public health workforce being essential to our future; health is a human right; and closing the health equity gap. All WVU faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate. Download a flyer here
