Duo screen will look different but work the same starting Sunday

Faculty, staff and students will see a new Duo Mobile authentication screen when logging into WVU services after an update during the normal maintenance window on Sunday (April 7).

Duo will work essentially the same as it does now. However, if you have Duo Mobile push notifications enabled and want to stop the push and change your authentication method, you will need to tap “Other Options” on the new screen. That will let you choose alternatives, such as entering one of the backup passcodes you have generated at login.wvu.edu.

Learn more about two-factor authentication, including how to set up new devices or remove old ones.

If you have problems logging in after the change is complete, contact the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444.
