Making Connections Building Community for Healthcare Professionals

The HASA leadership council meets monthly to plan events and activities to support students. HASA typically hosts two events per semester. Past events have included mock interviews, social events and activities to support students attending conferences including the West Virginia and National American College of Healthcare Executive Conference and Congress.

Interested in learning about infectious diseases and how they are transmitted?

The School of Public Health is offering a new undergraduate-level course in the fall 2026 semester for any students interested in learning about infectious diseases and the role of public health in disease transmission and control. PUBH 428: Infectious Disease Epidemiology is a 3-credit course that will be offered in person at the WVU Health Sciences Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 - 2:20 p.m.
