Claydon elected to executive committee for national public health society
During the national society’s annual meeting, Social and Behavioral Sciences Assistant Professor Elizabeth Claydon, Ph.D., was elected member-at-large for the National Delta Omega Public Health Honorary Society.
As part of the executive committee of Delta Omega, she will serve a two-year term beginning in January 2025.
“This gives the WVU School of Public Health Gamma Mu chapter a national platform in the society,” said Claydon. “In addition, it will allow me to help shape the future of our Delta Omega organization.”
During her appointment, Claydon will help coordinate and participate in committees at the national level, plan events and ensure the executive committee is expanding the reach of the Delta Omega organization.
