A State of Mind

Are you thinking of making a gift to benefit OLLI at WVU in your estate plan, i.e. will, living trust, IRA, or other manner?  If so, the proper language is important to ensure that your gift works out the way you intended.

Make sure your attorney uses this wording:  "...to the West Virginia University Foundation, Inc. (FEIN 55-6017181) for the benefit of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU.”  Your gift can help with operational costs, expand class offerings, or support technology needs, scholarships or classroom upgrades, as you choose. 

Please let us know if you have included such a gift in your estate plan.  We'd like to recognize you as a member of the Irving Stewart Society, which has no age requirement. In addition, you may be included as a donor to the A State of Minds:  The Campaign for West Virginia’s University, providing you will be age 70 or older by the end of the campaign on December 31, 2017.
