Assistive Technology and Agriculture Demo Day

Farming and gardening are fun, but can wreak havoc on your body. The West Virginia Assistive Technology System is a free program at the Center for Excellence in Disabilities that helps find solutions for individuals to live, work, learn and play independently.

Check out new, easy ways to make farming and gardening easier Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center for Excellence in Disabilities in the lower level parking lot. Vendors at the event will display tools to help with arthritis, back pain and to prevent secondary injuries. For more information, email wvats@hsc.wvu.edu.
