Bambi A. Bevill, MPH was honored for academics

Bambi A. Bevill, MPH, CHES was honored for academics, leadership and service at the 2012 Educational Programs graduation ceremony. An inaugural MPH Student Ambassador, Bambi worked tirelessly to promote the MPH program and the concepts of public health. She was also appointed to the HSC Student Advisory Board and worked as a graduate assistant in the Translational Tobacco Reduction Research Program. She completed a comprehensive internship with American Indian Health Research and Education Alliance in Kansas City, Kansas and plans to relocate from Wheeling to the American southwest to continue service to America’s indigenous population. Her faculty advisor was Bill RegerNash, PhD. In May, she passed the national certification exam for Community Health Education Specialist certification.

Bambi was invited by National Wellness Institute to showcase her internship poster at the National Wellness Conference in Stevens Point, WI , where she will present July 16-19
