CHARLESTON DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Thank you to everyone working to make the OLLI at WVU Charleston branch a success! With one week of classes this fall nearly completed, I’ve heard many good things.  A couple of hiccups, of course, but overall, you all have a program to be proud of. In fact, with 75 members and over 1500 registrations, we have five classes that are full with wait lists.

Our Charleston committee is busy recruiting instructors for the winter term, January 23 through February 17. If you have any suggestions for a class and someone who might be interested in teaching for OLLI, please let us know by emailing me at jascenna.haislet@hsc.wvu.edu.

When attending a class, many of you will be asked to complete an evaluation form. This is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and concerns about the class and about OLLI with the staff and board. Your feedback is important to us so we may provide our members with the best possible programming. While we do share evaluations with the instructors, the identity of respondents is kept confidential. If you did not receive an evaluation form, please feel free to email me directly. Again, your identity will be kept confidential.
