CHARLESTON UPDATE: Recruiting for NEW Fall Term

With the assistance of Victoria Gaston and Nancy Daugherty of the West Virginia Geriatric Education Center, OLLI at WVU held the first curriculum committee meeting this week for our Charleston branch. Topics of discussion included ways to get the word out about OLLI, potential class meeting locations, recruitment of volunteer instructors, and the membership fee structure.  Dates were chosen for a fall term, six weeks beginning October 3.  Over the next two weeks, each committee member will recruit three to five instructors and present course proposals at the next meeting on August 18 at 11:00 a.m.
