Director's Note December 16
Hope everyone is staying warm. I discovered earlier this week that somewhere in my moving adventures this year, I’ve lost my winter coat. So I’m off to buy a new one tomorrow afternoon. And that means two things will follow: the temperature will go up to a degree that I won’t need a winter coat and I’ll find the lost one. I think I’ll take that chance. A few days of temperatures above freezing are welcome as winter officially arrives.
A new year will soon be arriving as well, along with thoughts and musings of New Year’s resolutions. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to produce a monthly OLLI newsletter comprised of feature articles about classes, events, and other topics of interest to our members. Our first issue will be in mid-January. I invite you to share your New Year’s resolutions, stories of your holiday travels, or ideas for columns and future stories. The submission deadline for our first issue is January 6. Send your submission via email to olli@hsc.wvu.edu, using the word “Newsletter” in the subject line.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Stay warm and be safe this holiday!
