Dr. Scout to discuss health disparities among under-served populations
The West Virginia Prevention Research Center is co-sponsoring "Understanding Health Disparities Among Under-served Populations," a presentation by Dr. Scout at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, in Gluck Theater, located in the Mountainlair.
Dr. Scout is the director of LGBT HealthLink and an adjunct assistant clinical professor at Boston University School of Public Health. His lecture will focus on tobacco and health disparities due to gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity and socioeconomic status.
