Schedule of Films for the 2015 Film Forum:

October 21, 2015 - Nebraska (2013).  This film stars Bruce Dern in a fantastic performance that is a modern masterpiece.  When a father and son embark on a journey to claim a million-dollar prize, what begins as a fool's errand becomes a search for the road to redemtion.

November 18, 2015 - Autumn Sonata (1978). Talent abounds with Ingrid Bergamn, Ingmar Bergen, and Liv Ullman joining to tell the tale of a famous concert pianist confronting her daughter through a long night and eventual catharsis. Shot in burnished autumnal colors by Sven Nykvist.

December 16, 2015 - The Lion in Winter (1968). Two screen legends, Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole, illustrate the plots and manipulations in King Henry VII's court over the selection of the son to be named the heir apparent to the throne. Anthony Hopkins made a screen debut as one of the sons, and Timothy Dalton plays another.  Directed by Anthony Harvey, this film is a magnificent face-off between two calculating characters!
