From the Director - April 6, 2018, Charleston Edition
Are you ready for spring? Although the weather outside might not indicate it, spring is here and OLLI is ready for classes. What will you be joining us for this term?
As we begin this term, please be aware that OLLI is holding classes in a couple new locations this term. While eight of our classes will be held in Kanawha City at the WVU Extension rooms, seven are being held at St. John's Episcopal Church on Quarrier Street, four will be in St. Albans at the Hansford Center, and another at B'nai Jacob Synagogue. I want to extend my thanks to all of our partners at these locations for offering their space and assistance that allows OLLI to hold classes in the Kanawha Valley.
Please also read carefully the Class Corrections and Updates section of this newsletter. Although we strive to firmly cement our term schedule by catalog publication time, it is not always possible. Space availability changes, our instructors' schedules change, life happens. We apologize for any inconvenience that these changes may bring and encourage you to contact the OLLI office if you have any questions. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule it for a later date. And you may even find that we've added a class to the schedule. (Watch for such an announcement next week.)
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in OLLI at WVU.
Jascenna Haislet, Director
