The first week of OLLI’s Fall term classes is already done, WVU students still can’t drive, and Autumn has suddenly arrived!

1. of you were able to attend our annual Irving Goodman Aging Lecture, with Steve Thaxton, Executive Director of the OLLI National Resource Center (NRC). He has now written 2 articles in the October issue of the Osher Institute Newsletter.

The first highlights our physical facilities, particularly our location in the Mountaineer Mall.

The second article in the NRC newsletter urged other OLLIs to visit our website for our instructor page for information about making good presentations, created by our resident geek, Michelle Khalisis. Congratulations, Michelle, for national recognition of your efforts!

Don’t forget to pick up your nametag and lanyard in the member lounge and wear it proudly! With so many new members, it helps everyone know who everyone is.
