Great Inventions That Affected Our Lives
This fall term join us for a course on how Great Inventions have Affected Our Lives. Many of the inventors covered are inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
Founded in 1973, the National Inventors Hall of Fame is located on the United States Patent and Trademark Office campus in Alexandria, VA. There are currently more than 500 inductees each represented by an icon in the Hall of Fame gallery. Find out more by visiting www.invent.org.
Some of these inventions grew out of scientific studies while many grew out of practical, hands-on knowledge. Classes will include such inventors as Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, and Henry Ford. (Click on their names to find out more about each.)
