HAND MADE PURSES

The Knit and Purlers, Crocheters Too have completed a charity project in conjunction with the Service League of Morgantown and the Morgantown Public Library.  These are purses made by our group at OLLI to hold the remaining items for the class at the library about the Princess and the Pea.  A member of the Service League made the little quilt while the person delivering the class at the library, a Service League Member, made the little Princess figurine and cut the felt for the levels of the bed.  Each child registered for the class will get their own filled purse and learn the fairy tale.  This is quite a cooperative effort and the children will profit.  We hope everyone has enjoyed contributing and that the children will have a successful adventure in learning.  Good job volunteers and many thanks.  I'm certain you will see pictures of the event.
