The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a member-driven, community-based institute offering courses, lectures, travel and special-event programming designed for adults 50 years and older, is one of the reasons Morgantown continues to rank among the best places to work and to retire.  Education is a life-long pursuit, enhancing one's life regardless of age.  Morgantown is fortunate to have a vast range of talented and diverse residents including current and retired university faculty, business and civic leaders, and those with passion and expertise in various subject areas who are willing to share their knowledge and life skills as instructors for OLLI .  Classes include courses in music, literature, art, science, politics, nature, history, health, medicine, economics, business, and more.  Courses take place primarily at classrooms and the computer lab at the Mountaineer Mall and occasionally at other locations such as The Village at Heritage Point.  Our Charleston classes take place at the Charleston Area Medical Center.  Courses are one to six sessions with over 200 courses available during 4 terms.
