HPML faculty to co-chair community of practice for American Society of Clinical Oncology

Dr. Nicole Stout, research assistant professor with Health Policy, Management and Leadership and WVU Cancer Institute Cancer Prevention and Control was selected to co-chair the new American Society of Clinical Oncology Cancer Survivorship Community of Practice. The community of practice will lead multidisciplinary collaborations in education, research and policy to advance initiatives for cancer survivorship.

 
"Communities of practice bring together a variety of professionals that would not have otherwise had a forum to engage. Having American Society of Clinical Oncology support for this community will help to facilitate research collaborations, mentorship, education and tackle big policy issues regarding cancer survivorship," Dr. Stout said.
