HPML professor to serve on state’s Stroke Advisory Committee

Steve Davis, PhD, an associate professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Leadership, has been invited to be a member of an advisory body focused on stroke care. This month, Davis was selected to serve a three-year term on the WV DHHR’s Stroke Advisory Committee. The committee will work to increase stroke awareness and prevention, promote policy recommendations, provide data-driven recommendations for stroke care, among other efforts.
