HRC facilitates community meeting with Potomac Valley Hospital

Dr. Thomas Bias and Emily Sarkees traveled to Keyser, WV, to work with Potomac Valley Hospital leadership in facilitating a community meeting as part of their Community Health Needs Assessment process.

The team met with area agency leads and other stakeholders to discuss results of a community survey, which provided data regarding the primary health concerns of residents of Mineral County, WV, as well as Garrett and Allegany counties in Maryland. The group worked on developing a list of resources and ideas for addressing these main concerns. This list will be a main building block for the hospital's implementation of community benefit activities later in the CHNA process.
