KVVP Annual Holiday Party

The Kanawha Valley Village People Annual Holiday Party this year will be a Pot Luck meal with a fun gift exchange! December 10, 2016 at 2:30 PM until 4:30 PM at Unity of Kanawha Valley Church, 804 Myrtle Rd. Charleston, WV 25314, in their downstairs activity room. RSVP required.

So bring a 'pot' dish for sharing, and... a simple fun (or funny) gift for anonymous exchanging (gift exchange is optional).

We are asking that you bring a dish for our dinner, presentation ready to share. Please email Barbara S. at bhsongbird@suddenlink.net to let her know: 1) what you are bringing so we can plan for a balanced array of foods; and, 2) please let Barbara know how many folks will be with you so that we can plan for seating. 

We are also in need of two volunteers to help with setting the food out - if you can help out, please let us know (email  Barbara at same email listed above) and plan to arrive a bit early!

We'll begin the festivities with a Chinese Gift Exchange* and ask that if you would like to participate, that you please bring a new gift, wrapped for exchanging with a  $15.00 limit on the cost of gift.  

*A Chinese Gift Exchange is basically bring a gift, get a gift - but with some fun twists as to choosing and retaining the gift you choose! More details on the exchange will be explained at the party - BUT the gift exchange is completely optional. 

There will be a short sing along after the gift exchange and then dinner / socializing. Hope to see you there!

NOTE: 

If you're so inclined, bring a non-perishable food item to be collected and taken to the Manna Meal kitchen (located at St.John's Episcopal Church, Charleston).
