STANDING ROCK SIOUX SPECIAL PRESENTATION!
On Tuesday March 28, 2017, the Leadership Studies Programs and Native American Studies Program at WVU is sponsoring a unique and informational presentation by Standing Rock Sioux Chairman Dave Archambault II. This presentation is at 7:00 PM in the Life Sciences Building, Room G15 on the Downtown Campus.
It will further explain the issues regarding the opposition to the oil pipeline construction that desecrated scared lands and still risks contaminating the nearby Missouri River. Chairman Archambault has been able to heighten worldwide attention to the concerns through presentations around the globe, including the United National Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.
