Met in HD presents: L'Amour de Loin

The Met in HD series will present L’Amour de Loin (Love from Afar), a contemporary opera by the Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, on Saturday, December 10, at 1:00 pm, at the Regal Theatre. The performance will last 2 ½ hours.

L’Amour de Loin is about a medieval troubadour, who goes in search of a woman of whom he has heard but never seen. The opera was given critical acclaim for its music, singing, and staging at its premiere at the Metropolitan Opera just last week.
