National Public Health Week Food Drive
The Pantry Plus More is a non-profit organization that operates free school pantries, food giveaways, and health and wellness programs across Monongalia County. The vision of the organization is to INSPIRE, ENGAGE, and LEAD our community in ending hunger and to give every child an equal opportunity to succeed in learning – education is the great equalizer in life.
In conjunction with National Public Health Week, Delta Omega is organizing a food drive effort to support the organization.
When: The event will be open until April 8, 2022
Where: SPH Student Lounge/Computer Lab 3830 HSC South
Items Needed:
- Hormel Complete Meals
- Prego Ready Meals
- Campbell's Ready Meals
- Microwavable Bowls of Soup – chicken, beef with vegetables, sirloin burger and more
- Microwaveable Dinty Moore Beef Stew or any microwaveable ready to eat meals
- Deviled Ham or “Potted” meat
- Nutella and Nutella & Go!
- Jif to Go
- Gatorade/Powerade Sports Drinks
- Microwavable Chef Boyardee – all kinds
- Microwaveable Bowls of Mac N Cheese
- Fruit snacks – any kind including fruit roll ups, gushers
- Rice Krispy treats
- Kid Friendly Cereal Bowls and Large Boxes – Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Cap'n Crunch
- Mini Muffins
- Cookies – snack size
- Microwave Popcorn
- Individual chips, pretzels, popcorn, Pringles
- Jello Cups
- Detergent Pods
- Shampoo/conditioner and bodywash
- Deodorant
- Wide Ruled Spiral Notebooks
- Earphones
How to participate and receive credit:
Please Read ALL Instructions below before participating!
*** If you do not follow ALL of the instructions you will not receive service credit.
1. Please have an active iServe account before participating
2. Register for this event on iServe
3. Donate items to SPH Student Lounge/Computer Lab 3830 HSC South
4. Email proof of donation to hmlayman@mix.wvu.edu
5. Each donated item is worth 1 credit hour of service for a maximum of 20 hours and hours will be added to your iServe account by April 30th
