NEW WEST VIRGINIA PUBLIC THEATRE

WVPT is coming back with two shows this July at the Met Theater. Partnering with the College of Creative Arts, they will be producing A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, an early Sondheim musical, directed by Lee Blair and Romeo and Juliet, directed by Jerry McGonigle.

Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare's classic tragedy of young love gone all wrong. Jerry McGonigle will be joining us to give a post-show class on July 18th. We'll hope to plan a theater trip to see one or both of the shows, and we may be able to have the director of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum visit with us, as well.
