Nominations being accepted for Outstanding Public Health Faculty awards
Last year, the Student Association of Public Health (SAPH) partnered with the School of Public Health Dean’s Office and Office of Academic & Student Affairs to create two new awards to recognize outstanding faculty members. These awards pay tribute to outstanding Public Health professors for their teaching inside the classroom. They will continue to be awarded each year at the end of the academic year and will be fully selected by the student body.
We need your nominations now to make sure we don’t forget about the fantastic work done by your course instructors from the Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 semesters. If you have someone you would like to nominate, the form is quick and easy. To nominate a professor, tell us your name and program of study along with the name of the faculty member you want to nominate for the award. Additionally, we’re asking you to provide a few short sentences detailing why you think the person is the best fit for the award (examples from class that stand out to you). FACULTY EXCELLENCE IN UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING
This award recognizes excellence and creativity inside the classroom and recognizes an outstanding SPH professor who made a lasting impact on WVU School of Public Health students via their teaching and interaction with students at the undergraduate level. Submit your nomination.

This award recognizes excellence and creativity inside the classroom and recognizes an outstanding SPH professor who made a lasting impact on WVU School of Public Health students via their teaching and interaction with students at the graduate level. Submit your nomination.
AWARD ELIGIBILITY
All active WVU School of Public Health faculty and adjunct faculty are eligible for faculty awards. Previous recipients of any university, health sciences center, or faculty council awards are not precluded from eligibility.
WHO CAN NOMINATE
Nominations can be made by any current School of Public Health student who enrolled in a class during the current academic year.
