OLLI PRESIDENT'S CORNER - Welcome to Charleston!

Our Summer Term is moving along and will end around August 14. It is still possible to enroll for classes on-line or in person. Look over the catalog and see what you might enjoy or have time to include in your summer.

OLLI at WVU is the only OLLI in our state, but we are allowed to have satellites, so we have established the first one in the Charleston area.  I’d like to thank all of those in Charleston that have worked to make this a reality and to plan sessions to coincide with our calendar in Morgantown. Welcome to you all!  Please make sure to let us know how your experience can be improved. We also owe our Director, Angela a very big hug for her vision and leadership while becoming a mother to young Jack and a really huge doggie!

And speaking of experience, I am kinda new at this, so I hope that you will send me comments regarding issues you feel need attention and should be discussed by your Board. Remember, the Board consists of your elected representatives, so you should be button-holing your legislators with ideas, complaints and constructive solutions. We will do our level best to make decisions for the good of the whole.
