Raihan Khan selected for Outstanding Merit Fellowship
A doctoral candidate in the Public Health Sciences PhD program with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences, Raihan Khan has been selected to receive this year’s WVU School of Public Health Outstanding Merit Fellowship for Continuing Doctoral Students.
Khan was recognized for his award during a reception on Thursday, September 5, in the Mountainlair ballrooms and was accompanied by School of Public Health Dean Jeffrey Coben and his adviser, Professor Ranjita Misra.
Recipients of the Outstanding Merit Fellowship for Continuing Doctoral Students are selected by each college/school and submitted by the dean, associate dean or a designee. Fellowships recognize doctoral students who are succeeding at high levels, including current grades, research, service to the WVU community and professional publications.
