School of Dentistry DEI Committee creates video series to share cultural, ethnic customs

The WVU School of Dentistry Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee recently produced a video series to share the cultural and ethnic customs represented by the students, faculty and staff at the school.

"I am convinced that understanding different people and their cultures is one of the best ways we can learn from each other and learn more about ourselves," said Dr. Juan Bugueno, Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine and School of Dentistry DEI Committee Chair.

"By promoting activities that help acquire knowledge and information about these groups, our society can become more empathetic, increase cultural sensitivity and encourage diversity."
