SEEKING HEALTHY VOLUNTEERS
West Virginia University is seeking healthy adult volunteers for an upcoming study! The study investigates thinking abilities in adults over the age of 18. The study takes about an hour, and participants will be compensated $20 for their time.
We are looking to collect information about how a healthy aging brain works, and compare that information to those with a diagnosis of dementia. By participating, you will be helping us to further our understanding of how a normal brain works across the lifespan – which will help us understand how dementia, in diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease, affects the brain and thinking abilities. This information will help lead to earlier, more accurate diagnoses and treatment.
If you are interested in learning more about the study and how you can participate, please call Marissa Pifer at 304-581-1153, or email at marissapifer@gmail.com. Download flyer by clicking here.
