SPH Delta Omega now accepting membership applications
The Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Omega at West Virginia University’s School of Public Health is accepting applications for membership. SPH undergrad, master's and doctoral students may apply.
To be considered for membership, each applicant must submit an updated curriculum vitae and a personal statement (1,500 words max) detailing why he or she should be inducted into our chapter. Each applicant’s personal statement should focus on his or her academics, research, and service. Delta Omega certificates will be issued via email to the address listed in the application. If you are interested in membership, please submit your application materials to Stephen Heck at sjh0042@mix.wvu.edu by Monday, April 1.
Our chapter will be inducting up to 10% of the graduating student body, who must be in the upper 25% academically and who have participated in greater than or equal to 50% of the SAPH yearly-activities.
All inductees are required to provide an email address in their application. Following induction of membership, digital Delta Omega certificates will be issued via email to the address listed in the application. Inductees are required to pay his/her lifetime membership dues of $50.00 BEFORE induction to be able to access this digital certificate.
We will hold our chapter’s induction ceremony during the School of Public Health’s Spring Banquet.
