SPH faculty receive grant awards
Congratulations to SPH faculty on their recent grant award
Congratulations to the following SPH faculty on their recent grant awards:
- Gordon Smith and Judith Feinberg (Behavioral Medicine) will serve as Co-Principal Investigators on a new project titled Rural West Virginia Responds to Opioid Injection Epidemics: From Data to Action from the NIH. The award amount over 2 years totals $1,010,068.
- Travis Knuckles received a $450,000 R15 award from the NIH for a 3-year project titled PM2.5 from Fracking Operations Induces Microvascular and Mitochondrial Dysfunction.
- Ranjita Misra received a $449,975 R15 award from the NIH for a 2-year project titled Community-Based Diabetes and Hypertension Self-Management Program in West Virginia.
