SPH presents first Faculty Council Awards

During the April all-hands meeting, School of Public Health Faculty Council representatives presented the first Faculty Council Awards. The following members were recognized for their significant contributions to the school, students and field of expertise.

Dr. Christa Lilly, assistant professor of biostatistics, was presented the award for exceptional achievement in teaching. Dr. Ian Rockett, professor of epidemiology, was recognized for his exceptional achievement in reserach. Drs. Ranjita Misra and Michael Mann, professor and assistant professor of social and behavioral sciences, respectively, were recognized for their exceptional achievement in service. Finally, Leah Adkins, senior program coordinator in the office of student services, was presented the staff award for excellence in supporting the academic mission.
