This is why we sing!

On Sunday, November 20 at 5pm, at the WVU Creative Arts Center, Morgantown-area youth and children will demonstrate, for us, just exactly why they sing! The Morgantown Children's & Youth Choirs, sponsored by the School of Music Community Music Program, will hold their Fall concert, under the direction of Ms Leticia Grutzmann. The Choirs -- including children ranging in age from 8 to 18 -- will include performances of folksongs from Russia, America, and Africa, and other choral repertoire. Additionally, the program will feature guest musicians and solo performances.

The concert is free and open to the public, with a light reception offered afterward. The program will be held in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall in the Creative Arts Center. For more information contact Karen at 304-293-6946.
