Virtual Mindful Steps series begins in September

Mindful Steps is a free 6-week series designed to assist in developing and maintaining mindful resilience, mental fitness and relaxation. Participants are invited to attend as many of the one-hour sessions as they are able. The sessions offer a variety of simple yet practical tools to be mindful in daily living.

Fall sessions take place every Thursday at noon on Zoom beginning Sept. 12.

All mindfulness programs are free for WVU students, faculty and staff and WVU Medicine employees.

Mindful Steps schedule:

  • Week 1: Intro to Mindfulness
  • Week 2: Fundamentals of Mindfulness
  • Week 3: Embodied Mindfulness
  • Week 4: Communication and Compassion
  • Week 5: Mindfulness and Resiliency
  • Week 6: Sustaining Daily Mindfulness
