West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy seeks award nominations
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Drug Control Policy is seeking nominations for the following awards:
- WV Community Organization Award for Excellence in Commitment to Addiction Care: For a community based organization that prioritizes collaboration and is working across all aspects of the continuum of care, including prevention, early intervention, treatment, recovery and recovery support, to push the envelope in expanding access to quality addiction care in their communities. - WV Quick Response Team Exemplary Program of the Year Award: This award recognizes a Quick Response Team that has made significant impacts in their field and made significant contributions to their local communities. - WV Award for Excellence in Addiction Counseling and Service: This award recognizes a therapist, counselor, or social worker who has made an unequivocal impact on the field of addiction care through their work. - WV Medical Provider Award for Advancement of Quality Addiction Care: For a health care provider who has shown unwavering dedication to the advancement of addiction care in their health system and for their patients. - WV Impact Award for Commitment to Advancing the Field of Addiction Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery: This award recognizes an individual who has made an unparalleled impact on the field of addiction through excellence in leadership across the care continuum. The West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy will review nomination forms and recognize groups/individuals at the WV Appalachian Addiction and Prescription Drug Abuse Conference in Morgantown on September 22-24, 2022.
Nominations will close at the end of the business day Friday, September 2.
