West Virginia Rural Health Conference October 9-11
This is the 27th year of the West Virginia Rural Health Conference, the only rural health conference in the state.
The conference features national and state best practices speakers, provides continuing education to physicians, attorneys, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, dentists, community health educators and others, and is an unparalleled opportunity to network with others interested in improving rural health care in West Virginia.
This year's presenters include:
- Alfgeir Kristjansson (keynote speaker), presenting "Substance use prevention: ICE Collaborative and the Icelandic Prevention Model on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 8:45 a.m.
- Adam Baus and Samantha Shawley-Brzoska, presenting "WV Health Connection: Clinic/Community Linkages for Addressing Priority Health Disparities" on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 11:15 a.m.
