Working on My Next Big Novel

It’s not always easy to get those creative juices flowing or find the time to put pen to paper. Writer’s block, to-do lists, life obligations often stand in the way. They may even be used as excuses for not finishing that short story, mystery, autobiography, poem, play script, or essay.

Some writers find that having a dedicated time and space to write helps overcome these obstacles. If you need such a time and space, OLLI can help.

OLLI members are welcome to join us on Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:50 a.m. in classroom B at the Mountaineer Mall for the Writers’ Interest Group. Just bring your laptop or paper and pencils. We’ll provide the space with tables and chairs as well as the coffee, tea, and water.

The Writers’ Interest Group meets year-round and is available for OLLI members for only $10 per term. The fee is waived if you are taking OLLI classes and have paid the term enrollment feee.

For more information or to register for the Writers’ Interest Group, visit olliatwvu.org or call the OLLI office at 304-293-1793.
