WVU in the News: Father, son career paths converge at VA hospital

West Virginia University School of Public Health graduate Dr. Gerard DeGuzman works alongside his father, Dr. Placido DeGuzman, at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Salem, Va. While they began their journeys into medicine from very different starting points, each believes their day is made all the better for being able to spend it with family.

Dr. Gerard DeGuzman is a graduate of the WVU School of Public Health's Occupational Medicine residency program.
