WVU sponsors vigil for victims of drunk driving

The WVU Department of Community Medicine and Parker Hall State Farm Insurance Agencies will sponsor a silent memorial from 11 p.m.-midnight today for all victims of alcohol-related automobile fatalities in West Virginia in 2009. Organizers said that is the last year for which figures were available.

The memorial, on High Street downtown, will include 115 student volunteers from various academic disciplines paying tribute to each death through a silent candlelit vigil.
