WVU Student Government Association survey regarding COVID-19 vaccine mandate

On Aug. 26, President Gee told The Daily Athenaeum that he hopes to mandate nothing more than "common sense." By not mandating vaccines, Gee shared that he hopes to respect "human choice." However, given that the pandemic's impact on health and safety is constantly changing, Gee noted that he would be open to utilizing "a different model."

On Sep. 1, 2021, the West Virginia University Faculty Assembly will be gathering to vote on a resolution to support a COVID-19 vaccine for all WVU students, faculty and staff. To quantify student support of and opposition against a COVID-19 vaccine mandate, SGA Assembly members have created a survey. The hope is that students will utilize this survey as a platform to voice their opinions and concerns regarding a COVID-19 vaccine mandate on campus, regardless of their stance.

Take the survey.
