Yoga for Wellness

One could find numerous articles promoting the anti-aging benefits of yoga, but why? These articles describe how the benefits of an increase in balance, flexibility, strength, breathing and body awareness promote anti-aging. Yoga for Wellness is a beginner yoga that focuses on correct body alignment. Our instructor works with the class practitioners to teach them how to renew their vital energy and create physical and mental well-being through regular practice.

Eva Hnizdo, our instructor, has practiced the Iyengar style of yoga since 1976. This type of yoga has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment, with the yoga positions emphasizing the development of strength, mobility and stability.  She motivates the class participants and encourages them continue to practice yoga so that they see the holistic benefits on their body. This course is limited to 20 participants and is held in the Morgantown Dance Studio.
